Connecting Creative Minds, One Bloom at a Time.Lunaria was born from the experiences I wished I’d had when first starting my floral business. I craved connection—with fellow wedding florists who understood the joys, challenges, and quirks of this industry. To fill that gap, I began inviting a few like-minded colleagues to meet over drinks, dinner, or even in our studios. Those simple gatherings became transformative: we shared stories, exchanged knowledge, and left feeling inspired, supported, and full of energy.
That’s exactly the experience I want to bring to you through Lunaria: a welcoming, supportive community where friendships blossom, ideas flow freely, and you can connect with other florists in an open, nonjudgmental space. This is your chance to learn, grow, and recharge alongside people who truly get it—because together, we rise.
What’s behind it all?
CURIOSITY
I love figuring out the how & why with a subject. How does that work, how can I get “a” to “b”? Why is this the best route to produce “a”? Why does this matter?
CREATIVITY
Being creative is something I have always been. From drawing since a child, pottery class in high school and securing my art degree in college.
COMMUNITY
I love connection and finding like-minded people. I love bringing people together and sharing ides and stories to bridge us all closer.
OBSESSION
I will always be obsessed with flowers. And dogs. I will stop to admire the flower blooming next to the sidewalk as well as mumble softly, “aww he’s so handsome!.”
Mandy w/ MJM Designs
Mandy has been in the flower world since 2005, starting in retail while acquiring her BA in Fine Art. After flower shops and freelancing for wedding & event designers she decided to start MJM Designs in 2013. She loves to learn all there is about floral design and strives to build community and bring like- minded individuals together.
Julie Winje
Julie has backgrounds in fabrication and design; has her own wedding and event floral business, Inspired Designs, and is currently the Floral Director at Lusha Events in Denver, CO. She loves to bring color into the world and makes friends with whomever she meets.
